Why Join the Christian Theatrical Alliance (CTA)?
Your membership dues help support the myriad of programs, benefits and services offered by our organization. We provide a staff of tindustry professionals dedicated to helping you and your career.,We aim to help you find the friends and contacts you will need to build and sustain a successful career as a writer, actor, playwright, director, or technician. Monthly Dues: $10 per month or $120 a year

CTA maintains relationship with Houston's best teachers to provide discounts for CTA members who show their membership card at the class
• Information about joining CTA, local volunteer opportunities, member discounts, current shows, Houston theatre news, and CTA’s programs and services
Weekly Email Newsletter
• Exclusive to CTA members
• Notifies members about what is new on the website, including how many new auditions, jobs, education and volunteer opportunities. Often includes free ticket offers, updates on Members in the News, local networking events, and serves as a central information resource for members to stay connected
Member Discounts
• CTA maintains relationship with Houston’s top voice coaches, photographers, acting teachers, and professional services to provide discounts for CTA members who show their card when purchasing that service
• CTA works with local theatres to provide discounts on theatre tickets when CTA members show their membership card at the box office (IN DEVELOPMENT)
In The Spotlight
• Weekly email marketing tool for members, which features what projects CTA members are doing on a weekly basis
• Emailed to CTA members and Houston theatres, production companies, agents and theatre lovers.

Library (IN DEVELOPMENT)
• We maintain a library of over 3500 plays, musicals, anthologies, biographies and how-to books, in addition to sheet music and videotapes on the business
• CTA member check out the items for free
• Also provide audition sides and scripts from local auditions for members to peruse
Casting Books
• CTA maintains up-to-date casting books with member headshot & resumes for casting directors to browse.
Youth Mentoring and Adult Advisement Program
• Any youth member ages 9-17 has the opportunity to work with a mentor in his/her desired field.
• CTA assigns an advisor to any adult member who would like to have one in their desired field
